Any ideas for fun activities to do for the last week?
I'd like to do some laid back, fun things next week... being that it is the last week!! 
Anyone have some ideas for activities I can do on a 4-6 grade level? Thanks 
ETA: Any topic...... I'm open to any ideas..........

Ugh, the last week is so tough, isn't it? At least it hasn't been oppressively hot lately.
I teach older kids but I always like doing brainteasers and word puzzles with them. Rebuses and things like that. They get really into it, and I feel like their brains are getting a workout so I'm not just slacking!
ETA: puzzles like this: Puzzles. You could comb through them and pick out ones a 4th grader could get.

I teach 3rd. I have the kids write me letters telling me what they remember from the year and what they enjoyed most. They are fun to read on the last day. I'll also be reading 2 books - Oh the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss and Last Day Blues by Julie Danneberg. We'll be watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and having some chocolate treats to end a long line of chocolate theme books I've been reading to them. Besides that we'll be cleaning and packing! Can't wait for Friday

I'm showing a movie tomorrow and we actually ARE having a picnic later in the week

I have sixth graders. We are having a Boggle tournament tomorrow during ELA. A co-worker left me 6 game sets when she retired. They will play in teams of four and also individually.
I hope it lasts for the rest of the week.

They could do an A to Z with Mrs. ________ .... like a year in review, but they have to come up with something for each letter
I always like making the kids write letters to the incoming class in September about what to expect, etc. and I hang it on the bulletin board before we leave on Friday and call it "Sea What You'll Discover" or something like that and do it on underwater paper, lol
