What the heck?
I'm spotting. It's very light pink almost red.
I'm about 7 weeks.
Please tell me this can happen and it's fine.
I have a sono scheduled for Friday. Should I call the doc tomorrow?
eta: I put a liner on and it's not much and I have no cramping.

It's very normal! It could just be your lil bugger implanting deeper into your uterine lining. Yes call your Dr in the Am, but try not to panic. Lots of woman start out spotting then go on to have normal healthy pregnancies!

It's very common and everything is probably fine. I would call your Dr tomorrow, but they will probably tell you just to call back if it gets heavier/changes color. Glad you have a sono on Friday that it puts your mind at ease

With my first, I spotted lightly at 12 weeks. With my son, I had more than spotting at around 9 weeks and it turned out fine with both pregnancies.

I have had spotting turn out bad, and I have had spotting turn out fine. The bad was always bright red......the fine was pink.
It happened twice this pregnancy to me- pink both times, both right around where you are. So it could def. be nothing!

Pink spotting is ok. So is brown - my dr.told me thats old blood making its way out.
If it gets dark red or bright red then its time to worry.
Try not to panic and maybe call your dr. If you have a u/s scheduled this week already maybe they can push it up a few days.

Spotting is very normal, don't worry. If it would make you feel better, give the doctor a call. Never hesitate to contact them if you have a question.

I called the doc. They tried to get me in for a sono today instead of tomorrow but couldn't.
The nurse I spoke to was not very sympathetic at all. Since last time we didn't see an embryo she was saying it didn't look good.
Oh come on..give me something here!
She said if it gets heavier like a period I should go to the ER!

I spotted at 6 weeks and freaked out too , and I am over 32 weeks now. Spotting can be totally normal.

What a b*tch! I switched OB's when my OB was un-sympathetic to my friends miscarriage (we had the same OB) . My new dr would have me come in right away if I had a scare.

DH is trying to be helpful. I called him and asked if he could come with me today if they could get me in and he asked what for? He asked why I could wait for tomorrow? I said I have to tell the doc if something is wrong and this could be something wrong.

It is prob just implantation spotting. I would call the doctor to put my mind at ease, but would not worry. I spotted after a pap at about 13 weeks.

I do not like this nurse. Don't make yourself go nuts, with no cramps and no heavy bleeding It's most likely nothing and very common in early pregnancy.

pinkish tinge & brown are ok, and likely implantation. Red is not.
Sounds like the nurse has no bedside manner but is trying to prepare you for the worst.

That nurse needs to be kicked in the head...
I had some spotting around 6.5 weeks, and everything turned out to be fine...try not to stress too much (I know it's much easier said than done...)

this happened to me the other day. it stopped after about a day. I went to the dr. he did a sono and everything was fine so far. he did some bloodwork to make sure.
