Looking for GYN recommendation please
I'm having a hard time finding a GYN that I like. Lately, bedside mannor and effective treatment has gone out the door.. being in the medical field, I expect these things...Please - if you use a GYN that you find to be very thorough - do FM me with a Doc. Thanks so much.

I see Dr. Nodelman in Mineola on Mineola Blvd. They are part of Long Islands Women's Health. He's got a great bedside manner

I see him too and love him. He is so calming and easy to talk to.
He dlivered my cousins babies and 2 of my friends babies as well

I  Dr. Kiran Trivedi. He is very thorough. He is in Islip. Several of my friends have switched to him as well.

I see Dr. Egre. He delivered 5 of my cousins and 2 kids of a friend. He is also high-risk which is good just in case. He has offices in West Islip, Commack and Massapequa.

Thanks ladies. Here is a perfect example of why I need a better GYN: They had me on a script that I did not even need to be on. The results came in Wednesday and no call to me to tell me that I need to actually be on a different antibiotic. Another script is being called in and now I will be on "the correct" antibiotic. Also, I had to pay 70 bucks worth of scripts for NOTHING. I also wonder if I had not called today to follow up, when was I going to receive a phone call about the results and the "correct" med I should have been on?! Seriously?!

Wow. I cannot believe this!   Perhaps you can call and 'threaten' to leave the practice and ask to be reimbursed for the meds! (and then leave of course anyway because that is just ridiculous!)

definitely dr hanauer in garden city on old country rd. shes in practice with dr dolisi and she is awesome! very nice calm comforting; great bedside manner

I am definitely going to make a big stink about it! Get this - they never even called in the "correct" script to my pharmacy AND I was told the doc would be coming in at 1:30 p.m. I left a message to have him call me back when he gets in. I called the office back 2.5 hours later, I receive an automated message that the office closed at 2:00  How convenient! SO done with that place!!!
