Meeting other moms...
Can anyone tell me where to find mommy and me groups. I'm a teacher but off for the summer and have a 1 year old son. I live in the Mt. SInai area and would love to do more with my son.

I live in Stony Brook and have a 10 month old DD. I'm usually around Wed, Thurs, and some Fridays.

I met most of my Mommy friends right here on LIF!
There is also a site called meetup.com that I hear a lot about.

You can find some GTG's going on right here on LIF!
Also, meetup.com you can do a search for mommy groups in your area.

I'm a mom to an almost 10 MOS old daughter. I am a teacher too and am off for the summer. I live near you, in Medford. I'd love to make new mommy friends too:)
