nay for me, i've got hips and that type of skirt just makes me look wide.
if you are on the thinner side, then i say yay with a bright solid or printed tank top.

I wouldn't say it's a classic piece but depending on your body type you may be able to get away with it.

Interesting you bring this up. I have one that I love, but I rarely wear it because I've been called "bohemian" and it wasn't in a good way lol....but I think it's so flowy and pretty, especially in the warm weather.
