I'm 12 and it hasn't let up at all. I even get small breakouts on my chest, back and shoulders

Re: Skin Problems
Sounds like cystic acne. I had it before I was prego. I went to a derm. who gave me medication that my OB was cool with me using. Its a topical medication. My skin cleared up great and has been since Jan.

Re: Skin Problems
Mine is still awful at 11 wks 4 days. I am getting cystic acne, but thankfully it is only around my jawline. My doctor told me it was ok to continue using proactiv (I was using it before I was pregnant). I find the wash irritating, so I use a Neutrogena Deep Clean, the Proactiv toner and the proactiv lotion as a spot treatment. It helps, but I am still hoping it begins to clear up on its own!

same here, i've had cystic acne since i was young and i finally found a med that works. luckily for me it's the only one that my derm and OB approve for use during pregnancy and nursing.
my skin is far from perfect but it's a LOT better than it would be without the meds!
the one i use is called azelex, you can also use finacea - it's the same thing, but not as strong as azelex.
good luck!
