I'm "kinda" new to the group

Hi ladies! Reading your posts have made me feel so much less alone. It is easy to get depressed when ttc and feeling like your all alone in it. My quick bio, I'm going to be 35 in September and we have been ttc for almost 2 years. I finally went to see the "baby making" doctors My husband has had cemo when he was a child and it seems to mess with the movement and quality but the amount they say is great. Long story short went for iui and AF came the day before I was going in to get my levels tested. I am going for my first HSG on Monday. And than doing the iui again as soon as I can. Is there anyone else out there that feels like the only one with out a baby of their own, or worries that they may have waited to long? Thank you for reading I feel better now LOL.

You are not alone! Not a day goes by when I don't beat myself up for "waiting too long." I recently suffered a miscarriage and so many well-meaning people tell me how many women they know who had miscarriages and then went on to have healthy babies... of course, they were all YOUNGER than me at the time... between all of the IF treatments and the miscarriage and having to watch so many other people get pregnant easily and have healthy babies, I feel like I'm being punished for something.

So, no, you are far from alone. I hope your stay here is short and sweet!

i don't feel like i waited to long only because i waited till i found the right person and got married, we started trying right after the wedding, unfortunately i didn't get married till i was 33

i do feel like i am the only one without a baby and am starting to feel like i dont want to hang out with my friends when its a get together of all the mommies, i never wanted to feel that way but i just can't help it anymore

Feels like my vagina is on a world tour!

Thank You! for you kindness and honesty XO I heard the miscarrage stories to and I know the people who tell them are only being kind but it makes me nutty! i also can't stand the "don't worry it will happen when it is supposed to". My new responce is "well if it does not happen can I have your kid?" That usually helps change the subject. Today I went for the test where they put the dye in your tubes to see if they are clear, the test kinda sucked but..... my tubes are now clean and clear! I feel one seep closer!
With going to see all these doctors it feels like my vagina is on some kinda rock tour. I'm going to make t-shirts soon and sell them in the parking lot soon. LOL
I guess this iw why I avoided "treatment" so long.

I don't *think* we waited too long but it still makes me feel like we waited too long KWIM? Our timing is still on track for when we were planning on having a baby it's just crazy that it is taking this long.

On one hand I'm sad but on the other I'm definitely enjoying it just being DH and I for now. I think it's made me appreciate it more because I know how crazy it will be once a baby comes.

You will have your time too, don't let others get you down.

Avoiding "Mommy Friends"

I too am not so into hanging out with my "mommy-friends" but all my friends are mommies so, I guess it is not really a choice, and, I'm working hard at not isolating myself. I am VERY blessed with two of the most wonderful best friends in the world. And my closest BFF had some difficulty ttc so she is a GREAT support.
I guess if your like me there is this weird under lying guilt of not wanting to hang out so much with them very much. I am so very happy for all my friends! I guess... it's just kinda a reminder of what I don't have. Okay enough boo-hooing LOL

May all our baby dreams come true! xo And in the meantime... we can still drink
