Breathe in, breathe out.... my kids are leaving again
Kids are leaving for Florida today to stay with Grandma & Grandpa.
Remain calm.
-They are better swimmers this year.
-Their grandmother has promised to watch them like a hawk at the pool.
-She was warned about every drowning nationwide this summer.
-She will return them in the same condition she took them.
-Hurricane Bill will turn in an easternly direction.
I just have to remember to breathe. That's my only job until we get them NEXT Friday.

Do you put them on the airplane alone, or do your parents (IL's?) fly up to get them?
I don't know how you do this...I give you so much credit, b/c I cannot picture myself ever doing this w/my kids and my ILs, who live in Florida. I'm sure the kids LOVE it, but it's just too far away for my taste.

I don't know how you do it! The day Alex leaves for a week or two to spend with Safta and Uncle Ruvi in Israel, I will seriously have a panic attack!

I don't know how you do this...I give you so much credit, b/c I cannot picture myself ever doing this w/my kids and my ILs, who live in Florida. I'm sure the kids LOVE it, but it's just too far away for my taste.
My feeling too even though we are trying to make Barb relax....

MIL flew up to get them. We're going down to get them & then headed to Disney.
My mom just called to say that she dropped them off. She told Joseph "IF Grandma says to get out of the pool are you going to listen?"
"yes"
"Even if Grandma needs to run into the house, you're going to get out of the pool, right?"
"Yesss...."
"Did Mommy go over this with you already?"
"Yes. It's like you guys have a script or something."
I love that little boy.

That is so great for them that they get that memory of being in Florida without you guys. Some of my favorite memories are of going to visit relatives without my parents!!
And then to take them to Disney after, sooo much fun!!!!!!!

I spent about 4 or 5 summers in Vermont with my aunt. I loved being away from home and it made me appreciate my parents a lot more.
Enjoy your time with DH - you will be back together with them before you know it.
