Questions??
How long did everyone's Dr's tell them to wait to TTC again? My Dr. said I could try as soon as I get my first period.
I know they like to make sure you are emotionally ready, and then a month to make sure body goes back to normal.
Also after taking misoprostol how long does the spotting continue for?
Has anyone's Doctor said they are more fertile after a miscarriage? I know I read it on different sites but my Dr didn't agree.
I sure hope we are!

My Dr told me to wait until after I got my first period. She also told me you're considered fertile after a D&C, b/c everything is sort of cleaned out. If you mc naturally, I'm not sure that there is the same increase in fertility.

I hope this is true. I didnt ask my doctor if it was or not but I have read on many sites that it is. My doctor said to wait 2 periods before trying again. I asked her what would happen if I got PG before 2 cycles and she said I wouldnt be at risk or anything its just that it would be hard for them to date the pregnancy.
Honestly, we are trying now I cant wait. I doubt anything will happen now though since I havent even got AF since the d&c but Im praying for next month!!

I found that through out this whole process the most frustrating thing was that there aren't any REAL answers. I kept shooting questions at my doctor and he's like I don' tknow...and after a while he looked at me and said...that he was so sorry but if he had answers he would give them to me
I have come to terms with that I think....basically I am saying that each of our bodies are different and will react differently. Are you more fertile? I don' tknow, but I do know my neighbor got pregnant even before she got her first AF after a natural m/c with just BDing once! My doctor told me to try after I get AF...your body is going to do what it's going to do I think.
And...each doctor is different! it's frustrating b/c you'll hear from someonen that their doctor said this or that...I go by what my doctor tells me. I chose him for a reason and I trust him...so if your doctor said 1 AF then go with that!
I bled for about a week and a half w/ the meds...and then again when I found out that the fluid wasn't totally gone, but I am certainly not the norm. I'm sure when you go to your follow up you'll be on your way to recovery!

every doctor is different with the time frame..
for me.. since i had a 2nd trimester loss.. i had to wait 3 cycles..
the chemical i just had to wait for AF to come back.
i do feel strongly about waiting for AF to come before trying at all.. thats just me of course!
but otherwise i do feel its more emotional if doctors say to wait more than that!

My doctor told me to wait 2 normal cycles before trying again. However, I know one of my sister's friends got PG the first cycle after and had a perfectly healthy baby.

My OB and RE both told me to just wait until I got AF and then I could try again. I did not listen after my 1st MC and got PG again before AF came but MC again so I won't be doing that again
Re the spotting, I think it lasted a total of a week from taking the meds.
