looking to stay in Lake George this Sunday
Anyone have suggestions on where to go and stay for a family of 5?
Also can anyone suggest good discounts they have come across?

I love the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge - the kids love it too because of the indoor water park

Friends of mine just got back and they stayed at the Sagamore Hotel...in the Lodges on the property which are much cheaper than the hotel. You can use all the amenities of the hotel.
They had a GREAT time!

i suggest you do NOT stay at scotty's motel!! we stayed there and had to leave a day early  because of the mold and mildew in the rooms.  it was disgusting and since everyone who was near us smoked, our whole room stunk of smoke.
we tried to find another place to stay for the last 2 nights, but we couldn't find a place available with a fridge.
there's lots to do and lots of coupons in all the restaurants and hotels. we figured it out when we got there!
