What do you do with all the PICTURES you take of DC?

Almost everyday I take hundreds of photos of my DS. AT the end of the week, I put them all in a folder on my computer and burn them to a disc and label it. There are a handful of photos I would like to enlarge. What do you do with all the photos you take? How do you organize them? Do you print any out and frame them around your home? TIA!

i have them all in a folder in photoshop elements. i upload them to snapfish and shutterfly for my parents and dave's and i print the ones i love....

mostly - i'll make photobooks though - i just did her pro pics and her first vacation photobooks...and i'll make one of her first month, her second month...(we collect 'coke rewards points' and when you get enough - you can get free snapfish photo books)....

I print most of them. I can't help it. The prints land in a variety of places: on my walls, in scrapbooks, in albums or maybe just filed in a box. I do make some projects on the photo websites sometimes, too.

I store them all on my computer, in folders organized by the month.

I develop all of them, and frame some, scrap some and put the rest in photo boxes.

My DH prints almost every pic we take. So we already have over 2000 pics in albums and she's only 3 months old

I print them all !!!!

In albums alone , of my DS who is just shy of 4, we have 40 albums

I am so far behind, there are envelopes and envelopes still of pics of him that haven't made it inalbums and my DD is 8 months old and I have yet to put any oif hers in albums - There are thousands ! I probably print around 600 pics at Costco every 2-3 weeks ! I serioisly need to slow down, bt can't !

I am so bad at printing I only print like 2x a year

I just got an external hard drive, so I will start putting htem on there. Plus I upload to Shutterly and Snapfish and Facebook.

Mine are stored on my computer by year. I have a photo printer, so I print a handful when I need them. Sometimes I make photo collages (on Shutterfly) with them too. I am in the process of making photobooks for each year.

Ours are stored on our server and then backed up on tape drive, I have been thinking about storing a backup at my parents in case something happens (flood, fire, etc.) DH thinks that's a bit over the top

I have them organized by year > month > day downloaded from the camera

Each month I make a digital scrapbook page with a few pics from the month, I'll also make a page if we had a special event that month. At the end of the year I print a book.

I also have traditonal photo albums for images I love, and have a wall with about 12 framed pics on it. Rather than constantly adding pictures to the wall I tend to replace older images with newer ones.



....after writing this all out I'm feeling a bit OCD about my picture habits

REALLY???? You take some awesome pics...I'm surprised!!

I upload all my to winkflash/shutterfly. I print out a few in put them in albums.

Scrapbook most of them and the rest I burn to a disk.

I have a photo book of him and only him till adge 2 ( thast what i did with my DD) then it all gets combined into the family books

i will not save any to my computer. i had a computer crash on me 3 years ago and i lost EVERYTHING. i upload them to kodakgallery to share, back them up on my external harddrive and print all of them. before i print, i delete the bad ones and crop in the rest.

they all go in albums. i'm a big believer in hard copies of pictures.

I keep them all on an online server (smugmug.com) and then once a year, they put all my pictures on disks and mail them to me. I put that disk in our safety deposit box.

I also have them on iPhoto and use them for stuff but that is what I do to back them up.

I have to start printing more of them.

Right now I uplaod them to shutterfly by month and have folders by month on my computer.

I would really like to make scrapbook pages online but I havent gotten around to it.

I also try to back them up on my external hard drive as well when I remember.

I'm actually in the process of putting the last few months in albums and it is such a project, but I love flipping through them and seeing how much she has grown

Id say about 1/3rd of them are on photobucket for family and friends.

ALL are on our hardrive and about every 3months we put the full lot of them onto a CD for my father.

I need to update soon, thanks for the reminder.

We print and frame maybe one or two, but rarely. Jim bought me a digital frame so its easier to update that.

Now that I'm back in TX I print them for my aunt. She actually started a baby book!

i print them out as i take them. then i put them in albums and the ones that are my faves are all over my house. in frames on walls. i'm all about pics!!

For all of you who print them- Walgreens has these amazing albums that hold 500+ pictures!!
