teaching degree...
i stopped going to school about 2.5 yrs ago i have a few classes and student teaching left...i had to stop due to family issues and then i got preggo. I now want to finish. I am going to call my school tommorow...hope they are open! but i wanted to see if anyone had any advice or knows.....can i just continue what i didnt finish or do i have to reapply to the education program?
Also i took the Last and ATSW i only have the CST to take. I got review books today but im not sure which i hae to take my concentration was world literature. Do you think i would have to take the English Language arts of multi-subject? I took out both books just in case

Good luck! If your first school can't help, you might have luck with Queens College - they have a program (it's an extension of your BA) that you can do student teaching and ed credits through them for secondary certification (if you want 7-12 english)

Re: teaching degree...
I took it not too long ago; it was not as bad as I anticipated. I did use a test prep book to prepare for it. The book I used has some study review, test taking strategies, and practice tests. What I did was to take the practice tests and see where my weaknesses were. Those were the review sections that I focused on. Honestly, I did not study all that much. NYS also has a prep guide online. Here is the link:
Multi-Subject CST
I am obviously not using the book anymore and would be willing to give it to you if you like. Just FM me!
Good luck!
