My only real issue was the flowers. The bouquets were wrong when the arrived. That wouldn't have been that bad but when we called, rather then just fix them they fought us and told us we were wrong. My whole wedding vision was based around an image I saw of girls in teal dresses with hot pink flowers. I told the florist that. So why were their tons of white flowers in the bouquets?

Wow! Sorry to hear about your dh! Nothing really went wrong on my wedding day! I just remember being so calm and happy. The only minor things I can think of is that I wish I got my dress taken in more. I remember it being kind of loose. I also hated the way my hair came out and it became frizzy and just a mess.
I got into a bad car accident 3 days before my wedding, so I wish I could have that stress taken away. The airbag left marks all over my face and I stressed big time the week of my wedding. Some of it went away, but there are marks you can see in some of my wedding pics. So I would have loved to have flawless skin for my wedding.

only two small things...
I got bit by a mosquito during CH between my eyeballs, no joke I had like a GOLF BALL sized welt. I iced it up in the bridal suite for a bit and I was good as new after 15 mins of hiding out. To be honest, it was a blessing because I sat and ate a little during this. Had I not gotten bit, I wouldn't have eaten, and I'm pretty sure I would've collapsed from exhaustion!
And someone hugged me ripping my veil out, which ended up loosening my hair, which in turn, fell out...so in some of my pics, my hair looks completely skanky, despite my friends efforts to fix

everything was awesome except waiter spilled a whol;e tray of pasta on my train (bridal attendent cleaned it up) and the dj messed up our entrance song but it didnt ruin our day!

Some our flowers actually got screwed up -- the MOG, Best Woman, and FG were all missing their flowers upon delivery. But Burton's made the situation right ASAP -- I wasn't worried or flustered one bit. They're pros.
As far as the reception, the table layout was totally off, which made DH upset because it was his side that looked cuckoo.
Oh, and my dad was missing when it came time for our dance! He was outside smoking a cigarette with one of my guy friends from college! I was standing alone until my brother stepped in for a minute, but then my dad walked in and everyone applauded. It was a funny, memorable moment!

One of our guests cards (with cash) went missing. Our family handled the situation so I'm not even sure exactly what went on, but we've come to the conclusion that it got thrown out. The manager of the reception hall didn't take blame for it but they gave us the amount of the missing money. We were pleasantly surprised.

The only thing, and I didn't even know about it until DH and I were told at the end of the night was that our cake toppers got thrown in the dumpster.
They found them before the reception started but the MD and BA told me they were going nuts looking for them.

Sorry to hear about your DH but glad he's ok.
Here are a few things that went wrong for us:
1. The RAIN - it rained all day long we have like 3 outdoor pictures. The day was still amazing but quite honestly I always be mad at the rain.
2. We had a wedding crasher - that was pretty amazing.
3. The wrong song was played for our cake cutting song - I started calling out it's the wrong song, it's the wrong song. Now I think I probably should have just kept my mouth shut no one would have known but any way they did change the song so I guess it's ok.
4. Our best man FH's brother bought us a really expensive bamboo plant and it was going to be part of his best man speech because bamboo plants can get weathered and withstand anything it was supposed to be symbolic. Our Maitre'd brought me in the room to check everything out during cocktail and I saw the plant, I asked what it was for and he said pretend you never saw it. I was so busy I didn't give it a second thought. So once we go into our reception we had a tomato, mozzarella and prosciutto plated and then then the tables were cleared and the pasta came out way too fast. DH and I looked at each other and we said what is going on here? Leonard's lost the bamboo plant and they decided the buy themselves some time so the speech would be held up and they could look for the plant. Well the plant was never found and my pasta came out way too soon. People were sitting for too long. This really annoyed the hell out of me more than anything else on my wedding day. We complained to Leonard's and at first we wanted to be reimbursed for the plant and for loosing dancing time but we just said forget it we didn't want to fight with them over it.
5. 1 rose in my bouquet broke - very minor but I had to hold my bouquet a certain way for all of my pictures.
There were some other minor things that went wrong but those are the ones that stick out most to me.

Here's another I just remembered: My veil was in the bridal reflections bag it came from and it was draped over the couch. All of my BM's dresses were from bridal reflections and they all had the same bags. My mother decided to clean up all of the bags and crumpled them all together and put them in the closet. My veil wound up crumpled in the closet...I def had a bit of a moment when I realized this but the veil turned out to be fine and there were no wrinkles thank god.
One more thing - my photographer missed my violinist which played during cocktail hour and the my popcorn machine which DH and I bought to have as a surprise during VH.
Here is something that happened the day before my wedding. I won a harpist from TWOTY and I was so happy since I love the harp. I was at the nail salon having a pedicure the day before my wedding and my cell phone rings, it was the harpist telling me she had to cancel because her fil was sick in the hospital. I said what am I supposed to do the day before my wedding and she said the RH should be able to pipe some music in. I started shaking seriously I was so upset. We we originally going to have our dj play music but now they couldn't do it on one days notice. So the harpist had her friend call me who plays the guitar and he said he would be avaialble to play for me at first I was going to say yes but then I kept thinking about it the guitar did not go with my theme at all. I wanted a very elegant instrument. Thank god I have friend who owns an entertainment company, he was able to find me a violinist at the last minute. This def caused some major stress the day before my wedding.

Hi everyone! I'm new here, used to be on LIweddings as well :)
What went wrong on our day???? The photo/video guy did not show up at my fiance's house, even though we paid for it and agreed to it in advance...and, my dress train got dirty on my way out of the house when it got caught in the door before I even went down the aisle! grrrrr
but...other than that it was perfect

Three years later and I still get sad but here goes....
I was in a car accident the morning of. My sister's car was a total write off and I had to go to the hospital (cops' orders) since they were convinced I must have internal bleeding. Thank God nothing of that nature.
Anywho, my accident meant that ceremony was delayed by over an hour. Crazy priest started threatning my guests that didn't know what was going on that he was going to throw them all out since I was nowhere to be found. Nevermind that he had been informed that I was in an accident.
My personalized aisle runner was nowhere to be found. This BUGS me the most everytime I look at my wedding pictures as it was carefully picked out!!!
Reception - Placeholders could not be found at all. Delayed the start of dinner while my brother went home to print out the excel version! Thank God RH was kind enough to let CH run for 2hrs instead of the contracted one hour.
Monogrammed cake topper - nowhere to be found!
I believe these are the major ones. All in all because I had been given a muscle relaxant at the hospital, I managed not to freak out at all and actually had a very nice time.
