if you want to dress up like an illegal alien in a jumpsuit fine...but these are hard working humans, with names, faces, families who live hard lives already.

Definitely agree....it's only a play on words thus the mask. If it came with a different article of clothing or accessory to fingerpoint at a certain group of people, then i would think it's offensive. Right now i see it as a play on words.

The mask is what makes up the alien part of the costume. It's more a play on words than an insult to people who over stayed their welcome.

me too
my first reaction was to be offended because i think it's mean. Illegal aliens are such a hot topic and this really only adds fuel to the fire.
However, it's a funny play on words, and i think the alien mask actually takes away from the offensive nature of it.
I wouldn't wear it, and i'd probably laugh if i saw someone wearing it, but it still doesn't sit quite right with me.
although i do like the holy sh*t costume!

I had a student (16 yo) who thought I was talking about ET aliens hiding in cars crossing US borders during a discussion in a criminal justice class. So the costume brought back a good memory
