ovulation test
Ive been testing for3 weeks and finally got my two lines last Thursday but then proceed to get 2 lines through Monday (i then stoped taking the tests because i ran out!) do you think they were defective?

if it was just two lines then it was just a negative...even when you get your positive and you test a few days later you might still get 2 lines but it will be a negetive...hope i didnt confuse you!

i'm confused.. why were you testing for 3 weeks?? if you got AF, then you don't need to start testing until at least CD 7 (depending on the length of your cycle of course). If you tested for 3 weeks after AF, then you'd be on CD28 or so before you got the positive. do you have unusually long cycles?
i don't know why you'd have a positive for 5 days. That seems weird.
I'd say next month use the CBE digital ones - they're much easier to read, and more accurate IMO.
Personally, once i get a positive, i don't bother testing any more. Seems unnecessary since i already have the timeframe that i will be O'ing.
But i know some people like to keep testing anyway

I have extremly irregualr cycle i did wait 10 days after af came to start my testing thats why i tested for 3 weeks.
Next month ill def use digital like you sugested the lines have beeen driving me crazy!

oh yuck, sorry to hear that.
the opk's with the lines were driving me nuts too, could never really decipher what was going on, so i switched to the digitals and now there's no mistaking the smiley face!
if you've recently come off BC, your cycles can be very irregular, and it can sometimes take a few months for you to even O. so hang in there..
