For those currently employed and looking

How do you handle scheduling interviews and taking off from work?

I've recently been out due to pre-planned vacation but have received several phone calls for interviews.

I have the hrs of vacation time, but I also know it looks bad if your continuously taking off.

DH told me to inform interviewers that I would be available after hrs or the following week to avoid last minute call outs.

Im not sure what I should say?

I have a job that involves field work so I've always been lucky in that respect. I have also scheduled interviews before and after work in the past. Some people are willing to meet around 8AM. I also have done the "I have to leave early for a doctor appt" thing and met with someone around 4 in the afternoon.

If they are someone you would want to work for, they should be understanding of this.
