Clomid users
AF showed tonight so I am starting 5 days of Clomid tomorrow.
Was wondering what to expect in terms of side effects?
Also, how many eggs does one normally produce with Clomid?

The only side effect that I experienced was headaches. I produced two mature eggs on my right and two on my left that never really matured.

I didn't have too many side effects, just hot flashes. Some people also get headaches or some emotional side effects.

I luckily didn't have any side effects, but the most common one is headaches. Everyone responds differently and then it also depends on the dosage as far as how many eggs you'll produce.

hot flashes, when it was uppsed to 100mg felt a little crazy.
on 50mg i had one large follie w/100mg i had 2 large follies. good luck.

Today is day 16 For me I was on Clomid the past days 3-7 I felt very warm all the time.. then a few days later I had a horrible headache. I was 50mg I did produce 4 great follies and just did my IUI yesterday and today... Good Luck!

I never had any side effects. I usually produced 3-5 follies, but many people produce 1-2. Good luck!

That's the "medium" dose, I have heard of 50mg, 100mg, or 150mg.
I get hot flashes and sometimes have crazy mood swings. It's fun for everyone involved. 
I have seen anywhere from 1 to 4 follicles, I was on 50mg one cycle and have been on 100mg ever since.

I had no side effects....and it worked the first month, on 50mg! We tried for six months only on our own, but i KNEW something was wrong. Sure enough, I persuaded my doc to let me do some blood work, even though she told me to give it a year. Turns out I had a luteal phase defect. Very low progesterone. So, we gave it a shot. It worked. I got preg right away...and my progesterone level at 7 weeks is perfect! Good luck!!!

no. it's normal. it usually goes 50, then 100 for 2 months. My doctor would only give it 3 rounds before sending us to a RE. But it worked at shot 1 on 50mg.

I had crazy hot flashes, but that is about it... I think I produced about 2-3 eggs each time... GOOD LUCK!!!

I had a migraine the first time I used it but no headdaches the second time.
I did have a lot of early pregnancy symptoms 2 weeks after I stopped taking clomid the first time (not pregnant) but so symptoms the second time around.
Both times, I was on 50 mg clomid.
I had 5 eggs the first time and 4 the second.
