Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
Can someone else please tell me if their second pregnancy has been nothing like their first? I am nearly 11 weeks and it has not even sunk in yet that I am pregnant because I have NO symptoms and with my DS I just 'felt' pregnant and was nauseas 24/7. I have only had one Dr appt so far and on the sono we were measuring a couple of days behind so of course that has added to my fears that something is wrong. There have been a few other superstitious things too.
We have our next appt on 11/30 and I feel like I might lose it before then because I can't take the worry that something is wrong. We haven't even told anyone yet except our parents since its not 'real' to me and want to wait for the NT scan. Can anyone reassure me that their secord or more pregnancy was totally different than their first? I just felt sooo connected to baby the firsttime around and this time I don't yet.

Re: Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
I never felt pregnant until at least 24 weeks. Even with my baby bump I had to continually remind myself. I kept my test on the windowsill so I could say 'oh yeah' i am pregnant. This PG is VERY different from my first!

So far this PG is completely diff from my first but mine is switched - I was fine with DS and have been so sick this time. I keep thinking maybe it means I'm having the opposite gender.
It's common so try not to stress too much (easier said than done, I know )

Re: Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
DS's pregnancy was 100% different from DDs. I was sick 5-10 times a day for 7 months with DS, for DD I got sick less than 10 times the entire pregnancy. For DS, I was on bed rest for 6 weeks with pre-eclampsia and was very sick for most of his pregnancy. For DD, I was absolutely fine. For, DSs pregnancy, I lost vision, but for DDs I was fine. Good luck to you!

Re: Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
I have the complete opposite. With my 1st pg I felt great. I had a wonderful pg. Was nauseous for a while, but never got sick (except one night I ate Taco Bell). I barely even felt pg and it didn't really feel real to me until I felt her kicking...I was even a little disconnected even seeing the sonos. Once I felt her moving it all became real.
This time around I feel like crap. I've been sick since about 6 weeks and I'm 24w4d now. I'm really really tired. I've been getting horrible headaches and horrible pelvic pains. I def had no doubt I was pg this time around even before I felt her kicking.
Don't worry every pg is different. I'm sure everything is just fine.

So far, I feel worse this pregnancy.
I think every pregnancy is different.
My girlfriend was sick as a dog with her first 2, and now with her third she is fine.
Don't worry yourself. Be happy. I would give anything to be in your shoes right now.

Re: Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
With DS I was fine. Didn't feel pregnant at all. MS didn't kick in till almost 15wks and I didn't have any food aversions till well after my 2nd tri.
This pregnancy I have been sick, nauseas ever since 5wks. I have the worst food aversion to anything breakfast related.
Don't worry. I am sure everything is fine.

My first pregnancy was entirely different than this one. I am 3 weeks away and it has not changed. My first was so easy I loved being pregnant. This one...I can't wait until it's over!

Re: Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
Mine have been pretty much the same and I am pretty happy about not having MS either time. Hang in there If it wasn't for the sonograms and some minor things I wouldn't know I was pregnant either. Take advantage of feeling well!

Thanks everyone! I am glad a lot of us had different pregnancies with each one. I can't wait for 11/30 so I can see my little beanie again.

Re: Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
Oh sweetie I felt totally different with this one in the first tri! The only trouble is I was sicker but I had zero other symptoms. Nothing like I had with DS. No bleeding gums, no bloating, no sore boobs or nips at all. That all came later!
Since it was so different for me, and I am having a girl, maybe you'll have an opposite sex baby this time too?

Re: Can anyone pregnant with #2 or more reassure me?
I really hope it's true because this pregnancy has been rough food-wise and nausea-wise - I may not have more children if I have to keep going through this
