I guess I belong here now
I miscarried at five weeks over the weekend. It was a weird situation. I knew I was pregnant even without the BFP and I was waiting for tomorrow's appointment with my Reproductive Endo to confirm. I had symptoms all month and I could tell, I was even showing a little (my stomach kinda goes straight down so any swelling in the lower area looks like a bump.) It was the weirdest thing having pregnancy confirmed by miscarrying.
I'm waiting for tomorrow's dr's appointment to see what he has to say. I had an infertility diagnosis months ago after struggling with PCOS for over a decade but we wanted to try anyway. Well, I'm happy to report that at least I can get pregnant. I guess the question now becomes how to keep the baby. I can't complain too much especially since I got pregnant the first month we were trying.
This is my second miscarriage. Last May I accidentally got pregnant, although we still don't know how exactly. It was suspected that I miscarried in August when I was at twelve weeks but it wasn't confirmed. Now that I know what I just experienced was a miscarriage, I can confirm that it was the same thing that happened last August.
I don't want to go on the TTC and bring everyone there down so here I am. We are going to wait a few months before trying again, my body feels like it's been through a train wreck I am so exhausted. Past that, I'll see what my RE says tomorrow.

Re: I guess I belong here now
Thanks, ladies. I keep trying to stop myself from playing the "what if" game. I'm still kind of in shock. I guess that's normal.

Shock is totally normal. So is anger, sadness, screaming rages, etc. Talking on this board actually can make you feel better. We have all gone through it, don't hesitate to talk to any of us, we are all here for each other

Re: I guess I belong here now
I'm so sorry. I also lost my pregnancy at 5 weeks. It's a tough situation. I know that for ME, i just couldn't understand how I could hurt so much over losing something that I barely even had But time DOES heal all wounds. I am definitely here if you ever need to talk. This is a great board with some amazing ladies. We're all here for you

That's how I feel! A woman was writing on the pregnancy board about losing her beautiful daughter full term and I was like omg how can I be this upset but for me finding out I was pregnant when I miscarriaged was sooo hard because I knew but it confirmed it and I kept thinking if I would have known for sure maybe I could have done something different! DH doesn't understand because I think it just wasn't real to him yet.

Re: I guess I belong here now
I've been thinking about it all the time cause I can't help it and it seems like everyone around me gets pregnant, announces it immediately and has a healthy baby and it makes me feel like there's something soooo wrong with me.
Today has been the first day that I've been able to put a positive spin on it. Being able to try again gives me time to take more prenatals, take more folic acid, lose the 15 nagging pounds that have crept up on me and read more about pregnancy and parenting. Tonight when I went shopping I bought more organic than usual also.
Did you ladies do anything different before TTC again?

I read that too and that was EXTREMELY heart breaking and upsetting so I wont even try to compare the pain or even say I understand her pain BUT what you are going through and what we have all gone through on this board, is also a loss and we are entitled to grieve and be angry and sad. Once we find out we are pregnant, we turn into mothers and thats hard to have taken away. I know the men dont get it but for us, we feel it. We start planning things in our heads and envision our future children. Dont feel bad about being upset about this. Its normal
