Ant Motels

Last night my friend noticed a few ants in our bathroom and this morning I saw a few around tiny's food bowls...yuk. They are very small....not termites. My friend at work told me to get the ant motels.

Do you know if those would be harmful to Tiny, if he decided to investigate what they were?

All ant traps have poisen and are harmful to your pets. We trained Katie to stay away from the traps.
We have an empty soda can with 10 pennies in it and when she goes near them we shake the can and say no then she runs. She doesn't go near them anymore. Sounds mean but I'd rather be mean then have her poisened.

Thats what I am concerned about.....Terminix installed the termite system in the ground around our house, so at least that is taken care of, and I cannot believe that we are seeing ants now.

I cannot have an exterminator come because that is harmful for the puppy too.

What do i do?

I gotta get that can with the pennies in it...My friend told me about that too
