New here with questions!

Hi I am new here. I'll admit that I've been lurking for a few weeks now and I think this board is really helpful! Unlike planning a wedding, you can't really just talk to people about this because nobody really wants to know about your temps and CM so this board is a great place to share this experience. :)

My husband and I were just winging it in October and November so this is our first month officially "trying." I went off BCP in August. The first cycle was probably about 40 days or so and then the next two were both 30 day cycles. Between EWCM and O pains, I've been able to tell all three times when I've ovulated. This month I should've ovulated this past weekend but didn't get any EWCM which is VERY rare for me. Also, I just started temping last week and they started around 97.0 or so and now they're closer ot 97.8, which seems to indicate that I did O. Have any of you had months where you didn't have your typical symptons but did O? Also, we were BDing more than normal (going by the every other day rule) so I guess I'm wondering if maybe the EWCM was there but I didn't notice it because of the other "stuff" Anyway, I'm just frustrated because I don't even know if I'm in the TWW or not. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The only way to confirm ovulation is to temp. Do you put your temps into a program like fertility friend? It does sounds you did O from the two set of temps you have. But you need to look at the pattern and not just individual temps. A site like fertility friend will chart the temps for you.

I only saw EWCM like twice. I don't know if every other time I didn't have it or I just missed it. We BD-ed every other day from around CD 14 until O (I usually O around CD 18-20). And sometimes everyday around O time.

Thanks. Yes, I just started charting with ff and tcoyf last week and it definitely goes up. The crosshairs appeared on ff yesterday but it's weird cause I didn't have the normal symptons of O. At this point, I think I will just assume that I O'd unless I see EWCM one day. Does that make sense?

I have confirmed O w.o having much or any EWCM and before I was ttcing I always had some - go figure

I get postivies OPK's but after not getting pregnant the first two times, i started temping too and it seems my temp rises the way it should so I am pretty certain I O....what I did find out from temping was that I may O earlier than I thought....meaning before I get my little O twinges on my side
