Vampire Diaries Books
okay now that season 1 is done on TV what book is that up to? i want to start reading the books but dont want to read what has already shown on the TV????
anyone know??

the show is different from the books. they changed A LOT!
so starting from book 1 won't be like totally reliving season 1 of the show

The books are nothing like the show.. I personally like the show better.. the books got worse for me as they went on.. but I will finish reading the series when the last book comes out next year..

Def agree with the prev posters show is by far much better.....I dislike the books as they go on.
Also, unlike the Twilight series they just dont get into as much detail. I guess thats okay tho since its considered a teen book.

Season 1 isnt over.... they were approved for a full 22 episode season so it starts back up on January 14th.
