TMI (bloody noses)
I've gotten 2 bloody noses this pregnancy within the past 2 weeks...but now they aren't coming out of my nose they are going into my throat. I know the blood is sitting there bc I can taste it. When I am at home I hack it up and a ball of blood is there. At work I can't be hacking, its gross.
Anybody have this and have any solutions?

Re: TMI (bloody noses)
I don't get bloody noses but since the beginning I wake up with a stuffy nose and there is always blood in the tissue. I hear using a humidifier helps.

Re: TMI (bloody noses)
I thought I was the only crazy one who got the backwards nosebleeds. Last PG I actually had an ENT cauterize mine.

Re: TMI (bloody noses)
If you are on blood thinners that may be what is causing them.

Re: TMI (bloody noses)
Whats causing them is the increase in blood flow. whats making them go down the back of your throat is the capellery that is bleeding is located on the curve of where your nose meets your throat. My rec is a humidifier on high, lots and lots of saline. Keep your nose moist. Apply it like you would lip balm. HTH. It should clear up soon.

Re: TMI (bloody noses)
Had the same thing and the bloody noses were severe ... almost went to the ER once bc of it. They only lasted about a week though and then subsided.

Re: TMI (bloody noses)
Is the heat set really high at home or work? Even watch in the car make sure it isn't too high. This time of year stinks for nose bleeds. The dry air/heat does it, and then going out in the cold too. I agree saline away.
