Where are you??

I'm starting to see a few pop up!!!!

So far my due date is August 9th!! But we go to the dr on the 29th, so that might change!!

I can join you girls!!!! Congratulations to all of you! So exciting!!! I am so happy I have you girls to go through this with! I just got my BFP last night and it still hasn't hit me. I am 12 DPO today. Based on fertility friend I am due August 23, 2009. So far my symptoms have been tightening feeling in abdomen at 7-8 DPO, mild headaches, moodiness 8-9 DPO and today I am extremely emotional. I am not sure if that is because this is sinking in or a symptom. I am watching the Barbara Walters special that i dvr-ed on the top 10 people of 2009 and I cried to the point of tears when Lady Gaga said she felt like an outcast. LOL

When and how are you planning on telling your families?

How far along is your first doctors appt??

I'm here! My EDD is Aug.1 but I go for my first OB/sono appt on tuesday so that may change. Ill be 7weeks tomorrow. No morning sickness yet just a few queasy moments and really sore/big boobs! Looking foward to going through this with you all!

Is this your first pregnancy or 2nd or 3rd etc?

For me this is my first!! So I know NOTHING!!! Actually i was always petrified of the birth process.... literally just the giving birth part.... so I refused to learn anything or know anything about it. I'm still petrified!! But i try not to think about that part of it just yet! i have a ways to go before then.

My first appt is Dec 29th. Some doctors i called didn't want to take you until 7 or 8 weeks. But I think I talked to a few girls who went to a dr already. I even had one dr office scare the crap out of me and say... Januray is better because then we know it's more likely to "last". I was like WHAT!!! WHO says that??? It's my first pregnancy so those comments scare me. Needless to say.... we decided on another doctor.

Ahh the telling of the families!!! I am just going to have DH blurt it out!! haha! I can't say it... it makes me emotional and then I get all nervous and feel kinda dumb. Don't ask why... because I have NO IDEA!! I had to tell my boss and I literally almost had a breakdown over it. We are thrilled about it... so it's not that at all.... I don't know if it's hormones??? But I do get a little sensitive over some odd things.
We were going go to my mother's house last night to tell her... but I passed out and missed her call. So now maybe we will tell her on Sunday.
DH's parentsm we might tell sometime next week over dinner (we are supposed to go there for dinner).

Unfortunately we don't have any sort of cutsey way to tell. If you guys do, my all means PLEASE share!! haha... maybe I'll even steal your idea!! haha!!
I think we didn't really come up with a cute way to tell, because it's REALLY soon after our wedding. We have been together for almost 6 years... and living together for almost 4 but we literally got married a little over a month ago and got pregnant on the HM! We def tried on the HM... kinda tried... not al scientifically tried.. just in the sense that we didn't use anything. We didn't think anything would happen.... so MUCH to our shock and surprise it worked!!!! I have reasons to think the whole getting pregnant part would take a while and that we would have difficulty... so I'm soooo happy that it wasn't the case!! Now I'm anxiously awaiting the doc appt!!!

Oh and I'm still not out yet... some people know... but I can't wait to come out. Isn't this secret hard to keep????

Hi everyone i just go my BFP on Wed.. I am so execited, I had only been ttc for 2 months. This is my first child. I have a doctors apointment on 12/29. Right now i think i am due around 8/19.

Hi girls! I have a EDD of Aug 4th. This will be our first. We had a mc back in the beginning of sept when I was 11.5 weeks. I started spotting at 7.5 weeks but had a sono and heard the baby's heartbeat and was told all was fine. Then at 11.5 weeks starting spotting again but this time it was red not brown. When I called the emergency number the dr. assured me I was fine b/c I had heard the heart beat and was already 11.5 weeks, turns out the baby stopped growing at 9.5 weeks.

I am very worried about this pregnancy b/c of the previous one. Up till this week I had absolutely no pregnancy symptoms which I had last time. But I shot myself in the foot by saying that b/c I have been nauseous and puked twice since last night. I had my first dr. appt yesterday, they did blood work that takes 1-3 days to get back. Hopefully I will have that back by Wed. The dr. asked me to schedule a sono for 8 weeks b/c of the previous m/c. So I will hopefully get to see the heartbeat on the 23rd. The dr. also told me she would be happy to see me every two weeks, so I could hear the heartbeat, if it made me feel better. I may take her up on that offer. We'll see.

I wish everyone a happy and healthy 9 months.

Oh WOW!! these stories scare the crap out of me!! literally i get soo nervous when i hear these things. im terribly sorry you had to go through all that.
its so nice that the dr said you can come every 2 weeks!! id prolly do that!!

Just got a BFP today ..according to babycenter.com I'm due Aug 18th. I know for a fact we conceived on the Thanksgiving - wouldnt that make it only 2 wks, why does babycenter say 4?

your EDD is calculated from the date of your last period (first day of your LMP) usually about 2 weeks before you conceived!

According to my LMP, my EDD would be 8/9/10 (love this!!!)

I have my 1st appt on 1/9, but am not sure about which dr I am going with so, that may change.

I have a 20 mo. DS and am sooooooo excited to be giving him a little brother or sister!
