Just found out I'm pregnant :-)
After 1 1/2 years of TTC, DH & I just found out that we are expecing our first!
I am so excited but also a little nervous as to what to expect over the next nine months.
Can anyone recommend a good website, book, etc... I just ordered "What to Expect When You're Expecting" but I'm wondering if there is anything else that may be helpful. I have a lot of questions about diet and exercize.

Dr. Oz just came out with a new book for the pregnant mommy. I haven't read it yet my mom has it for me for Christmas. Mayo Clinic has a great pregnancy book. Congrats!!!

Im not sure of websites.. i pretty much use this one. I have some books and like Pregnancy week by week and what to expect when you are expecting

I have the mayo book and can't wait to start reading it!!
i went nuts in barnes and noble the other day!! haha!
also the pregnancy for dummies book seems really great so far... i'm in the mist of reading it.
a good friend told me the what to expect when your expecting book can be a little scary.... so she warned me not to read it. I didnt buy it... but a close friend of mine (one of the few who know so far) bought it for me the day i told her.... so i now have it. I'm going to read it... but im going to read the pregnancy for dummies book first.
the pregnancy for dummies book tells you details but from a safer perspective so as to not scare you.
i'm not sure if the expecting book really is scary... im just going by what a friend told me... and i will see for myself too now since I have that one as well.
the mayo book looks great.. its just very heavy so its hard to lug around.
Congratulations!!!! we literally JUST found out too.... monday will be a week that we found out!!

oh and check out babycenter.com it gives you pictures and updates and you can chart your due date too!!!
congratulations again!! WOW after trying for that long you guys must be through the moon ecstatic!!!

I'm a big fan of the Mayo Clinic book and Your Pregnancy Week by Week. I don't find What to Expect to be scary - just not very well organized or all that informative or helpful.

Thanks for your wishes and for the info! I am going to look for the Week by Week and Mayo Clinic books tonight!
I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! It has been such a long rough road for us to get to this point and it is the best feeling to know that DH & I are finally pregnant! I can't wait till I can tell everyone!

I agree with babycenter.com- by far the best pregnancy site I've found so far. You can find most of the info from What to Expect, Mayo Clinic, etc somewhere online, as it's mostly facts. My favorite pregnancy book is "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy". It's more of the real-deal to pregnancy and birth. Great, great book.
