Dizziness
I had a scary experience this morning. I was making pancakes for my firstborn and all of sudden, I got tingly and my vision started going black. I broke out in an instant sweat. I was literally almost blind as I walked to a chair and sat down and put my head between my legs. I kept thinking, "how's my child going to get help if I pass out?" because DH wasn't home.
Has anyone experienced this? (I'm almost 12 weeks.) I didn't experience dizziness like this with my firstborn.

Re: Dizziness
I got it pretty bad first tri. Doctor said to try Gatorade first and that a lot of it could be due to dehydration.

Re: Dizziness
drink something sweet, it could be low blood sugar, I suffer from it too with dizziness all through first tri, esp when I couldn't eat due to m/s.

Re: Dizziness
I was just telling the same to my co-worker. I felt very dizzy today at least 3 times. I'm 11w3d. I thought it was sugar and quickly had some sweets, it went away and came back later. Now I'm sitting at my desk at work afraid to leave. How will I get home? I feel like i will pass out any minute.

Re: Dizziness
This happened to me on the train when I was 8 weeks. Thankfully DH worked a few blocks away and met me at the station with gatorade but it was so scary because I was by myself and didnt think I could make it up to teh street level.
My OB told me it was normal to be dizzy like that. I noticed that throughout my pregnancyif I was standing for long periods or felt warm I would get dizzy very quickly. I made sure I stay well hydrated and cool and that seemed to help out.
