How much does your preschool cost in Suffolk?
We are pretty sure we are going with one preschool for when DS turns 3, but I want to know if it is in the 'ballpark' of cost. We are registering this month for the fall, so I am a bit nutso with all this info. 
Also, how many days per week and how many hours per day does your cost cover?

I was planning to send DS to one that cost $6600 for half days.
We are moving to the city this week. At a playdate this weekend, parents were discussing preschools and the range seemed to be $25-50k.

I liked Huntington Montessori and West Hills Montessori in Suffolk. The Huntington Montessori School is in the same building as Long Island School for the Gifted.
I haven't started my Manhattan preschool search yet. I'm a bit afraid to.

3 days per week 3 hours per day........

$350 per month
For 4 hours per day it is. $470

We live in Brooklyn. Our preschool is 3 mornings a week, 2.5 hours at a time. We pay about $8,000 for the school year, Sept to June.
The Manhattan figures, depending on where you go, don't sound too way off -- 50K, sounds crazy high even for NYC. If it is full time and you use it like a day care, $25K or even $30K is still cheaper than a FT nanny.
We pay our nanny $600 a week, ON TOP of preschool!

2 days a week. 2.5 hrs a day. = $150
next year we are going to do the 3 day program, 2.5 hrs a day = $175

I also wanted to add that for a 5 day program, 4 hours a day, its $350 per month ( Though I believe that may only be for the 4 year old program  )
