ugh.. I had an internal & have been feeling crampy all day
is this normal? On the plus side.. I am 1 cm dilated & 80% effaced so there is progress.

Very normal - I've been having internals for the past few weeks and lots of cramps and actual pains after - nothing happening though.

when I had an Internal before my son was born many years ago,I returned home and felt the exact same thing,even had some spotting,24 hrs later my waters broke and I went into labour.They do say that a good internal can sometimes bring it on.Good Luck xxxxx

I had this after my last one - very crampy all day and a little the day after. Glad you're feeling better now though. Good luck!
