Orly's Treehouse for 1st Birthday?
Just wondering if a 1 year old would actually enjoy this place. I've never been, but it looks so cute. I really don't want want to make a party just for my friend's kids to enjoy (who are a bit older). I want my DD to have fun at her own party too. I'm thinking she might be too young still.

Re: Orly's Treehouse for 1st Birthday?
We went to a bday party there once. DS was too little at the time, but knowing what they have...a year would be borderline. It depends if they offer different "parties." When my niece's party was there, she was 2, and they went into different gym/mat rooms and ended in this play area. The play area is fine for 1 year olds. The other stuff...borderline. But maybe for younger kids they don't do the same rooms. You know?

Re: Orly's Treehouse for 1st Birthday?
I have had my son's birthday there twice now. Once when he was 2 and then again at 3. The staff is fabulous and they cater to your needs for the child. I had concerns as well regarding the age but 2 or 1 I can tell you that you will not be disappointed. Ask for the soft gym, ask for music, ask for things your child will enjoy.
When setting a party you have to decide who it's for. Whether it's Orly's or it's another kids place you need to cater to your child. I highly recommend Orly's Treehouse for parties, even for 1 year old's. Jeanie who is their party director has been so helpful both times that I would not hesitate to go back again and again. My child now even takes classes there because he has liked it so much.

I think parties like that for a 1st Birthday is sort of a waste IMO. I would start doing some sort of party like that at 2.
I know my DD is almost a yr old and would not be able to enjoy it at all.
Just my 2 cents

I'm not a fan of having first birthdays at a place. However, there is a ton for a one year old to do at Orly's. The kids gym is awesome and they have great music programs. I am pretty sure they will cater the party to your child and guests.

IDK much about Orly's Treehouse (thought the two "new" posters seem to have a lot to say ), but I think for a one year old they probably wouldn't get much of a first birthday party no matter where you have it. First birthday parties are mainly for the parents, not the child. I think having it at a place like that will be for other people's children and anyone you wanted to invite that doesn't have children may not participate.
