Overdue ladies - come on in - bumping for updates on everyone
Who's still with me? My due date was last Friday. At my appt on Monday, I was 50% effaced and 1-2 cm. My OB swept my membranes and I've had sporadic contractions pretty much since then but not regular enough to turn into anything. Getting induced tomorrow morning, but still hopeful to go into labor on my own, esp since I definitely lost my mucous plug this morning (it really does look like a glob of snot  ). Gross, but still exciting!

I'm still here... though my DD was yesterday. BUT! there are no indications of labor: no cramps, no plug loss, nothing. I've been 1cm/50% for the last 3 weeks. 
I see my dr on Friday. If I don't go on my own, I will be seeing him again the the 26th and then again on the 29th... I'll be induced on the 30th - if I'm still around.
GOOD LUCK! And I hope you go on your own - YAY! for losing your plug!!!

Sending labor vibes -  - this overdue thing really sucks. I'm not incredibly patient to begin with and I knew due dates are just estimates, but 40 weeks is a long time and I'm soooo done with being pregnant. I really hope you don't make it to the end of the month!

I completely understand what you mean about being done with the pregnancy! My patience is seriously lacking lately - especially today! EVERYTHING is pizzing me off today - and it's only 10:30am. I told my husband to steer clear of me, unless he's giving me food or something to drink - or taking me out for a walk.

I'm not overdue, I've still got 5 weeks, but I went passed my DD with DS, so I can feel your pain.  I remember being so frustrated I could cry. Unfortunately, these babies come out when they're good and ready, or when we force them out with induction!

I think we may be it but I just got a call from the doctor to come in to the hospital tonight instead of in the morning... now, I'm terrified. You really can't win! I'm very excited to meet  but I'm also terrified about the induction.

I was afraid of the induction too, but I actually had a great experience. I also went in at night. Tonight all they will probably do is give you cervidil and then probably start you on pitocin in the morning. For me, my Dr didn't do cervidil, she did a balloon catheter, which had me dilated to 3-4cm by the morning with no pain to me. Then she broke my water and they started me on the smallest amount of pitocin. That was really all it took. About 3 hours later I had the epidural, and about 3 hours after that I was ready to push.

My Due Date is this FRIDAY!!! I think I will be LATE I have a Dr's appt. at 2:30 today HOPEFULLY I will be dialated to something...As of last week i was NOTHING...Good Luck Ladies!!!

This makes me feel better! As does this morning's A Baby Story, which also was a nice and easy induction. He was not going to do cervidil since I'm already dilated - I was supposed to come in tomorrow and have my water broken and then pitocin, but since I'm coming in tonight to ensure I get a bed (apparently 6 people are scheduled for the morning), they're doing the cervidil. I will ask about the balloon catheter. Pain scares me.

I'm still here too. Due yesterday and nothing yet. I'm being checked again tomorrow and doc said that if he thinks there's progress, he MIGHT induce on Friday. 
He also told me "sex, sex, sex!" So DH is happy, but you can bet that is the LAST thing I want to be doing right now. OUCH!!

Awwww I hope you go in the next few hours! Your mucus plug is DEFINITELY promising!!!!!! I'm still here as well...was due last week  I have until Sat. morning - I really don't think I'm going to make it based on how I am feeling but, hey, I didn't think I was going to make it this long! Good news is if absolutely necessary OB says it will be an easy induction - no cervadil necessary - just a little pitocin since I am already so far progressed...but, hopefully - it won't come to that for either of us!!!!

I'm still here too!!! I definitely feel your pain!! I was due this past Sunday, so I'm 3 days overdue...
I never understood why people got so upset when they were overdue, until now. It is so hard! I don't even feel all that uncomfortable, and I still love being pregnant, but I'm like sad and I don't know why! I just want my baby to be here already! It's really hard going into work everyday and hearing "You're STILL here?!?!" 30 times a day! I go to the doc tomorrow for a sono and NST and then we'll discuss what to do from there. As of last Thursday, I was 80%effaced, and a fingertip dilated, so I'm hoping and praying I've had some progress since then!! Hang in there ladies, we'll be holding our little ones before we know it!!! Progress and labor vibes for all of us!!!

We've tried this - not only was it like an exercise in gymnastics, it hasn't worked (though it did for a good friend of mine).

I was not going to have cervadil either, but my OB changed his mind about it - the hospital is overbooked in the morning so I think he just wants to make sure I get a place though I'm going to ask about this tonight  .
A co-worker had cervadil and then never needed pitocin so we'll see how this goes.

Don't forget the phone calls and the emails and the facebook inquiries - it just irritates me more . I hope you have more progress tomorrow!!!

Still here and 3 days past my due date 
I just want to get him out so that I know he's healthy!
I have an appointment to start an induction on Mon. 1/26. Hopefully he decides to meet his parents before then!!

I was overdue too. I had a successful induction with pitocin only. They started the pitocin around 8am and broke my water shortly after and  was born at 9:10pm after 20 minutes of pushing.
I got my epidural around noon so most of the day was spent waiting and watching sitcoms but, I didn't have any major pain until 8pm that night.

Bumping for updates - today's my first day back at a computer so I wanted to check in on everyone but I think I've only seen announcements for a few of us. How is everyone?
ETA: DD was born Thursday after being induced. I have some great pics on my bb and just need to figure out how to move them over to my laptop and post them.

First of all - CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Second - I'm still here... due on 1/19... I went for acupuncture Saturday afternoon to try to induce labor... so far nothing. If I don't go into labor by Monday night, I will be going again on Tuesday. I have a dr's appt on Tuesday (after acupuncture) for a NST... then for a sono on Wednesday for a check on the fluids... then to the dr again on Fri for another NST... to the hospital later in the evening for Cytotek and Saturday we'll start the pitocin.
I AM SO DONE WITH THIS!!!
