A thank you for returning my bonds gift....IDEAS?
So my neighbor came by today to return my bonds to me, and I just wanted to get him something for all the trouble he went through to track down the rightful owner of them......and return them to me? He really could have just thrown them out instead of trying to find out who they belonged to. What is an appropriate amount and what should I get him...he is married. I dont really know anything about him either other than hes a painter.

Is he an artist painter or house painter? If he is an artist, maybe a GC to an art store in the neighborhood? I would probably get him one for $100. Painting supplies are $$$.
I also like the Sam Ash GC idea.

I was going to suggest that too since he hd to return the ones he received because of their budget.
There is also Guitar Center, but i have no idea if any of those are in NY.

GC to Guitar center for sure.
At least $100. He can buy strings a tuner and some other misc with that.
Or some guitar lessons if he is looking for some.
