My latest craving is....
Lentils!!! I can't get enough of them! I had 3 bowls last night!

i had my first craving last night: i got home from work at 10pm, and had leftover broccoli rabe in the fridge from the italian place. i wolfed down all of it, and then a vanilla pudding immediatly afterwards so gross, yet so good!

lentils are the miracle food of pregnancy!! they are supposed to be one of the BEST things that you can eat for teh baby's development!
I eat them once a week with rice, yummy!

This baby loves all types of legumes too. I have had my fair share of lentils too. My 1st trimester lemonade craving seems to be kicking back in.

My grandma makes lentil stew for me. I found this recipe online which is pretty similar to hers: (my grandmother doesn't add potato or tomato but all the other ingredients are the same - oh and she uses fresh minced garlic)
LENTIL STEW
1 c. lentils, dry
6 c. water
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. carrots, sliced or chopped
1 c. potatoes, unpeeled, chopped
2 med. onions, chopped
Salt, to taste
Sweet basil, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
2 c. tomatoes, pieces or stewed, canned
Cook lentils for 30 minutes. Add vegetables and seasonings. Cook another 30 minutes until vegetables are done. Add tomatoes; simmer until tomatoes are hot and cooked throughout stew. Serve immediately, next day or use in thermos. Can be frozen in small containers for future lunches

I craved lentils at the beginning too. My mom made me her homemade lentil soup a few times and sent me home with tons of leftovers. She made i again recently and I couldn't even look at it!  Which is wierd, because I love her lentil soup all the time!
lately it's been chocolate. I'm so not a chocolate or sweets person..it's weird. I've really been trying not to have it tho. I got Fiber one bars that have a little chocolate in them and it seems to be doing the trick.

Just cook the lentils with some onions, carrots and potato in water for about 30 minutes. Make rice seperately and then combine!
You MAY be able to make the rice together, but my mom never did so I don't
yummy!

I'm absolutely dying for a bologna sandwich (which I'm not eating). I can't eat anything else I crave because of gd, so I've been convincing myself that cucumber slices & ranch dressing is the greatest thing ever!

I am dying for bologna too!!! Boars Head on white bread (which I never eat) w/ thin sliced deli yellow american cheese, and a little bit of mayo. This is what I am demanding to eat after I push  out. I don't trust DH to get it perfect so my dad is in charge. The man knows food.

they were in my pantry SCREAMING my name! I actually just threw them in the trash
i was food shopping before and suddenly had a MASSIVE craving for a slice of pizza: went to the pizza placed and wolfed a piece down like it was my job!
