Good thoughts please
I just found out that my dear FIL has to have heart bypass surgery due to "several" blockages....I have no experience with this, has anyone went through this...any information is appreciated...
please keep him in your thoughts  
ETA - he will be having a quadruple bypass

Steph, if you need to talk, FM me, my dad had a triple bypass at 50, when I was 16, and my grandmother had a quad at 80(!) and I was 20 then, so I have a lot of experience with this

My uncle just had this. Things went great and his is recovering nicely. For him its not over, he needs a anyuerism repaired now.
all will go smoothly!!!

Good luck! My FIL had this done several years ago after having a heart attack (very scary) The surgery went very well.

UPDATE - surgery went well, I just called the ICU and they said he is no longer intubated and they are about to get him up out of bed.....thanks for the well wishes
