Cat litter!
Help!
My cat is kicking litter all over my bathroom, and tracking it throughout my house. He didn't always do this (he's 4) but the litter we've used for years was discontinued. I vacuum every day, but five minutes after I'm done my house is covered again. What can I do?

Re: Cat litter!
I used to have this problem then I switched to Yesterdays news. its a pellet type of litter. Some of the pellets come out but its not anywhere as bad as the clay litter was. Also, there is little or no smell with this litter compared to clay litter...at least for us we found that

Re: Cat litter!
I had a similar problem and I ended up putting a mat in front of the litter box. The kicked up litter just ends up on that instead of the whole floor.

Re: Cat litter!
We had this problem too. We switched to a covered litter box and I put a small mat that I bought at the dollar store in front of it. It's not carpet, but kind of industrial carpet-like (not plastic) and the litter seems to "stick" to it when the cat comes out of the box.
