Has anyone tested negative for elevated NK cells?
I see all kinds of posts about people testing positive for NK cells. Has anyone tested negative? Also, has anyone that did test positive leave it untreated?

Re: Has anyone tested negative for elevated NK cells?
NK is natural Killer cells. some women who have infertility and hx of miscarrages their drs (if they're good!) will test for immunological issues that could be causing the infertility.
I had slightly elevated NK cells. My understaning is that many women with elevated NK cells can still get pregnant, but others do not. Its weird! And normal pregnancies do cause the NK elevation in the uterus, but normal immune systems can counter act it with out treatment - but for some of us it doesent so the leves just keep rising and then cause m/c or prevent implantation.
Whether or not to treat is an individual choice, but for me if Im going to go through the hassle and expense of IVF then absolutly IM going to get treated for everything that my stand in the way of success. I went too long with no pregnancies to mess around.
thats my two cents

My dr just tested me for this as well, he said that yes you can get pregnant even if you have them but if they know they can give you somehting to negate their effect...

Thanks for the detailed explanation!!! But i do agree with you in ur thinking. If u are going to go through the whole process of getting preggo this way (IVF or other) then u might as well make sure all the bases are covered.
