sick ALLLLLL day
Hi Ladies. Congrats to all on their pregnancies. I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light for me on my problem.
I am naseous from the moment I get up until I go to bed. I can only tolerate Hawaiin Punch to drink ( which I know is not good) and carbs are about the only thing I can eat.
I am wondering if anyone else feels like this. I have a three year old son and I was only sick with him in the morning. I am currently in the middle of my 8th week of pregnancy.
Any advice is appreciated

Re: sick ALLLLLL day
I know how you feel, from week 7 to 13 I felt horrible... nausea and sometimes even vomitting.
Im now about 14 weeks and I feel a little bit better now. The trick (for me at least) was to eat ONCE I wake up... even if its just crackers. If I let myself get hungry the nausea would get worse.

Re: sick ALLLLLL day
I feel your pain, I was nauseous all day for about a month and all I wanted to eat was carbs too. Definitely eat something as soon as you wake up. That helps. And have stuff to snack on wherever you are so you don't get stuck scrounging for stuff. And if you can, force yourself to try things. For awhile I thought I could only drink ginger ale, even in the morning, but then I discovered that lemon made water tolderable and I lived on lemon water for awhile! Hang in there - it will pass eventually.

I was the same way. I ate all day long (stuff like dry cereal or pretzels ) and found that it helped. Around 12 weeks I started feeling a little better and now at 14 weeks I am so much better! Hang in there!

Re: sick ALLLLLL day
Congratulations!!!
Keep food in your stomach all of the time. Carbs are the best (bagels, toast, waffles, dry cereal).
Try to eat at least every 2 hours. If you feel it getting worse try to eat a carb. It takes the edge off.

Re: sick ALLLLLL day
I am 8w also and have been feeling the same way. I have noticed that if I sip drinks (gatorade, gingerale) and eat crackers / pretzels / dry cereal throughout the day, I feel a little bit better. Being completely exhausted doesn't help either!

Re: sick ALLLLLL day
I found that I was getting way sicker because the vitamins were making me VERY nauseous. I started taking them at night right before I go to bed. I felt so much better as long as I didnt wake up in the middle of the night Hope this helps

I am in the same boat as you and am as far along as you are.
I am going to try ginger root. She bought it in Whole Foods or you can fidn it in GNC. A friend of mine said it worked for her.
I am hoping it goes away for us soon!
