Shushing Question
The happiest baby on the block shows the doctor doing it pretty loudly.
Would you ever think that shushing in a newborns ear could cause any damage? I have been using the technique since he was born (4 weeks ago). Just dawned on me last night that maybe it was too loud for his little ear.
TIA
Signed a worry wart mom!

Re: Shushing Question
I did it near the ear, not directly in it. How loud can one shush? He should be fine.

Re: Shushing Question
It prepares their ears for when you yell loudly at them when they are toddlers!
