Borderline hcg levels and progestrone levels at 3 1/2 weeks
Hey ladies, I am a bit worried..After having a m/c at 16 weeks (about 11 weeks ago), I just found out i am 3 1/2 weeks pg. I went o the dr on tues and had a hcg level of 300 and on thurs it only went up to 500..My progestrone levels were 11..The dr said my levels are not perfect, and if it continues to remain the same or decrease i could possible m/c again.She put me on progestrone suppositories..I am supposed to insert it once a night..I am so nervous...Anyone in the same boat as me???Do u think it will help bring my levels back up?

Im back and the waiting is going to kill me..Should I be worried that they wanted me to come in for beta test???.I am one big mess today..:(

Did you go in for another beta test? When was the first day of your last AF?
For 3.5 weeks those level don't look that bad to me. The progesterone suppositories will help your progesterone level go up a little bit.

For 3.5 weeks those level don't look that bad to me. The progesterone suppositories will help your progesterone level go up a little bit.
I agree at only 3.5 weeks levels dont seem that bad and the prgesterone should help!! I know other girls on here who have done it and had it work!

The dr's keep sending me back for blood work.(they dont tell me anything)
One dr just told me my levels are borderline, not great..My last period was jan 22..I got pregnant after having one period after the mc..I went for 2 blood tests, and one beta tests this am..I will get my results later today..Ladies i cant stop crying

I hope all works out for you...I am a former IVFer and I can imagine how hard the waiting is, knowing if your levels are good...are they increasing are then not...just try to stay positive!

The hcg levels are not low for being so early, I think the concern is more that they didn't double in 48 hrs. But they weren't bad. Try to keep positive

i dont think think the suppositories have any affect on the HCG levels...that is just the hormone released when the baby in implanting and stuff like that (i think)...the supossitories work on your progestrone levels which i dont think double like your HCG...that just helps to have the pergnancy take better (again, i think).

dr just called..His said my hcg levels went from 500 to 2000 in a matter of 4 days..he said the numbers are good and I should continue with the suppositories..What a relief..So happy...thx to all of u who have showed me love and support..lets keep our fingers crossed

My hcg doubled at first and then stopped and I had low progesterone at the beginning. I was taking the absolute MAX progesterone dose per day they would allow and still only got up to a 16 or 17. The doctor was even surprised that the sonos were showing progress given my blood work.
Now I'm almost 37 weeks. So don't put too much stock in the blood tests.
