flying to fl...
which airline did you take to fl? we are in suffolk and were considering doing southwest out of islip but they dont have for sept when we would be goin out yet. and i just heard on the news airlines are having great prices today-tommorow i can get a rountrip for the 3 of us for under 600 on jetblue. is this good? i havent flown in years so im not sure.
alot of people i talked to recommend jetblue b/c of the movies...but southwest allows 2 free bags each whereas jetblue is 1. i think we would only have 1 each anyway i couldnt imagine bringing much more.
wwyd??
also should i even book it this early or wait?

Re: flying to fl...
we just came back from disney and we went Jet blue our dd is 4 and loved having her own tv. we got a great price 79.00 each way- I think they are booking up to Oct now. with jet blue you get assigned seat but with southwest you have to get what ever is left open when you board. we like Jet blue better!!! we were there for 6 nights 7 days and had only 2 checked bags, and one carry on. and now that i look back i over packed!!! (our room had an washer and dryer in it) for some reason i alway over pack -- plus the extra we bring back!!!! have a great trip!!!
hope it helped a little

i have never flown southwest, but the last couple of times i have flown jet blue i have been given a seat with a non working tv in my seat. the plane was full and i couldn't change my seat. very disappointing.

Re: flying to fl...
Where in Florida? We are going to WDW in May and are paying a little over $850 for 4 tickets. I have been watching to see if it goes down (JB will give you a JB credit if the price goes down) and I haven't seen it cheaper than that. So if you are going to Orlando then under $600 is a good price. They now want over $1150 for those same flights.

Did you get a credit for having a broken TV? The few times that has happened to us/thefamily they hve given us acredit.
We usually fly southwest down to FL, it is cheaper and by the time we actually go, we have built up a nice credit from rebooking qhen the price lowers. (we are going in April and now have a $92 credit for a future lfight!)
Jet blue is a lot more comfy and cooler and has TV as was said.
To FL is such a short flight that I would go w/whatever was the cheapest.

Re: flying to fl...
I flew Jet Blue back in June with DD. I don't remember how much it was but DD was on my lap so we didn't pay for her. 200.00 each (round trip) sounds about average.
We are flying Southwest on Friday. I think we paid about 200.00 each. Maybe a little less.
