HSG tomorrow
so tomorrow is the big test. i read that i may get cramps afterwards. i hope not!
please keep your fingers crossed that both are open. My doctor said if they are closed we don't go any furhter 
we just started this journey last week & can't tell you how wonderful you ladies have been. i think learned more here than from my own doctor! after getting the news that my FSH was 15 i was so down but found out quickly that is possible to lower it.
i haven't really started this journey & it already seems so stressful. the anxiety of waiting for test results, the dismal stats, and the back & forth to the doctor's office.
hopefully everyone stay on this board will be short !

hi! You'll feel some cramping during the injection of the dye but that only lasted less than a minute for me. I didn't have any cramping after.
I also have elevated FSH (12.7) and I'm starting my IVF next month. In the beginning it was also very scary for me. AFter a while, I'm just getting anxious to get the process started. I hope your stay here is short and sweet!

This was my experience too. Slight crampin when it was first inserted, then nada. Like most things TTC related, the anxiety of what's to come before hand is usually worse than what the procedure actually is. So try to relax. Take some tylenol before and you will be fine, promise ! I hope your tubes are clear and you are ready to cycle !! Keep us updated !

I didn't feel a thing with my HSG....I had read some horror stories online of how painful it is but it really turned out to just be a piece for me  From what I have read, it depends if you have a blockage whether it will hurt or not during the test. But I guess I'd take a couple of advil just in case.

no blockage with me, but i am not going to lie, it hurt a bit. nothing unmanagable though...think one, long immediate menstral cramp.

I was uncomfortable during the test and had some slight cramping afterwards, but actually less than with a period.
Also, please don't be discouraged if there is a blockage. Both of my tubes were blocked by polyps. My RE was able to remove them and I am pregnant now. Also, even if they are blocked and can't be fixed, there is always IVF. Just don't let your doc make you feel hopeless!

Thanks everyone! i didn't get the results yet. it did hurt a little at first. but i'm more upset that i am bleeding a little. the doctor said to expect that. me & DH were dying to BD today since its been over a week
