Balckout Day 4...Anyone else still without power??
UUUGGGHHH...This is day 4 of no power for me and LIPA says maybe it will back on by Friday...FRIDAY???? 
Anyone else having bad luck like me this week?

I'm in Massapequa Park...we think the problem is the GIANT oak tree that is stuck on power lines on my corner and they still haven't even touched it!!!
I'm beyond miserable at home!

They have to wait for clean-up crews to take down the tree's before they can even touch the electric. Town of hempstead has more than 22,000 people without power still. Looks like it will be a while. Do you have anywhere else you can stay??

I know and the worst part is there was a crew there with like 6 trucks, new poles and everything last night...they sat there for 2hrs and then left without doing anything!!!!!!!

That probably means there is a live wire and they have to wait for Lipa to come turn off that live wire and then they can remove the tree, then Lipa can come in and repair. Sounds like you are in for the long haul

OMG...that is terrible.
I am in Mass Park too. We lost power for about 24 hours Sat/Sun, but thankfully got it back. I cannot believe you still dont have any

we have "limited" power in the bronx (throggs neck). it's the weirdest thing, some things work, some dont. our stove, washer, dryer, AC (we wanted to use it to dry up our carpet), some lights DONT work while everything else does. its driving me nuts
