Something Borrowed & Something Blue - discussion question (spoilers)

I am only 50 pages into Something Blue so I am sure my opinion could change.

But - at this point I see myself relating and understanding Rachel's point of view more than Darcy.

Who are you in favor of and why?

I wouldnt want this question answered until you read both books. Some comments may ruin it for you and both books are very awesome :)

I agree....Let me know when you finish, and I'll tell you what I think and why.

I will say though, that I LOVED Something Blue.

OK - finished Something Blue.

Although I think Darcy's character really developed. I still do not fault Rachel for staying with Dex.

I did appreciate how it all came together at the end. Loved both books.

I put off reading this series bc the premise made me Chat Icon

But after a bunch of people recommended them I read them...

I think it worked out for the best for everyone...but

I didnt relate to either girl. I find it hard to believe two people could REALLY BFF's and treat one and other that way...

While I enjoyed the books it was too unrealistic for me personally.

Have you read "Love the one your with"?

i loved the develpment of Darcy... the evolution from selfish b*tch to the woman Ethan fell in love with was incredible, while I felt that Rachel never changed. After I read Something Blue I went back and read Something Borrowed just to see if Rachel evolved over time, and i really don't think she did.

I could totally see the relationship between them and relate to the competitive piece of it, as I've had relationships with friends like that (still do!)

I read Love the One You're With....I really enjoyed it

I just finished Something Borrowed, I loved it, I relate more to Rachel guess it's kind of an underdog thing. I just ordered Something Blue so we'll see how I feel after that one

I loved Something Borrowed but wasnt crazy about Something Blue. I just felt like Darcy's storyline was a little far fetched. Not saying that someone as self centered as Darcy couldn't change that dramatically. I think Something Borrowed was a little more believable.
