Which Cruise w/a 2 1/2 year old
Normally we always do Royal Caribbean, but we're thinking of doing a 5 night cruise in october. My husband found a really good itinary through Carnival.
Carnival used to be the real big party boat. Is that still the case or is it becoming more family friendly?

I would probably do Carnival based on the fact that their kid's clubs start at 2 and RCCL start at 3

yeah that's good to know. That makes a difference.
Any cruise line you'd recommend in particular?

Carnival has worked hard to shed the "Party Boat" stigma it was tagged with some years back. It's youth programs are very well run, and my 6 yo daughter has loved every minute of her time in Camp Carnival since she was 2.
I don't think you will be disappointed, at least not with what is available for your child.

I've noticed throughout the years since the 1st cruise I took on Carnival (with your hubby actually!!! ) it has definitely become more family friendly.
I didn't find the last one we went on to be a party cruise at all. Most of the people on it were families with little kids

I've been on both Carnival and RC, and found Carnival to be a lot more fun, but not a "party ship."
