Pharmaceutical Sales

Does anyone know how to get into Pharmaceutical Sales? I know that industry is very competitive and cut throat. I'm currently in the chemical industry working in the lab and would love to venture out into the business side of the industry and even Pharmaceutical industry. I have a very strong science background (BS in Biochemistry).
If anyone knows the tricks or connection, could you please let me know?

im in medical sales, capital equipment. I would suggest some type of B2B sales first, even if its like paychecks or a payroll company.

MOST pharm companies look for a minimum of 2 years sales experience and then its usually pretty easy to get in the door for minimum an interview

the science background is great!

pharm sales might seem saturated but turn over is high, companies are always looking. good luck!
