Spotting - UPDATED
I'm 7wks today. Just went to the bathroom and found a spot of light pink blood on my undies. Then finally had a BM (sorry, TMI but I am on Zofran and it totally constipates you!) and wiped a good amount of pinkish blood.
I've never had bleeding in any of my pregnancies. At my first appt at 5wks we only saw an empty gestational sac. My next appt is on Thursday. It's going to be a long few days.
UPDATE: Thanks for the advice ladies. I called and even though Dr. Cohen wasn't in I saw the NP. She was great. Had the u/s and right away a beautiful little baby popped up with a heartbeat!! Measuring perfectly at 7w1d (I am 7w2d). She thinks the spotting was just normal with nothing to worry about. Thank God. I never would have made it to Thursday. And I get to keep my appt w/ Dr. Cohen for Thursday too. What a relief!

since it was pink spotting i would call the doc and then may have you come in today instead of Thursday just to check on things...but try not to worry...spotting is pretty common in the first tri and it's probably nothing.
I had heavy bright red bleeding a few times in the first tri and i'll be 29wks tomorrow!

i agree call the dr.
when i went @5w (thought i was 6 my dating was wrong) we just saw sac. the dr told me to call if any bleeding-maybe you can go in today! I wouldnt be able to wait until thurs.

Yup- just call the Dr. to be safe.
I had some bleeding around 9 weeks - they didn't know what it was, but thankfully (keeping my fingers crossed) it hasn't happened since. It's a very scary and uneasy thing to see, so I would definitely go and get checked out.

is it possible you have a hemroid? they can bleed! this happened to me around 7-8 weeks.

Wendy's bubbly personality is so wonderfully refreshing! I love the entire office staff and going to miss seeing them so often!!! Speaking of that, I want to call Sue to see if I go into labor tonight or tomorrow will Dr Cohen be there since its passover...

I hate to tell you this... but when I looked at his on-call hospital calendar the other day, he was on the 2nd and 3rd for this week. But maybe it could have changed! He will be in the office though like normal.
