I have him as E ric. With the space in between his name pops up when I scroll to e.

It's funny b/c my phone tells me who is calling when it rings and it always says

"Call from E- Rick" It gets a chuckle out of me.

He has me in his phone as 'baby'

I also have him listed as ICE1 and my mom as ICE2.

Its his nickname that my family gave him. I was with my brother the other day and he called. I thought my brother was going to fall over laughing when he saw I had him labeled Sven.

I never heard of ICE - I'll have to do that.

I have "Wife (first name), desk" and "Wife (first name), cell" in mine, both as ICE contacts.

DH is labeled as "Babe Cell ICE" he has me in as the same, ICE is for in case of emergency so an EMT worker or policeman or anyone looking would know who to call first.

Well I met him online on a message board, so I put his name in as that.. and never changed it! It is good because it starts with "Y" so its the last one in my directory and the only one starting with that letter.

I never changed his "label" from when I first entered it into my phone - so it's his first and last name.

After we got married I changed it to just his first name, but somehow, it just felt wrong. I love having it the way I first typed it in.

When I had the phone before my current one, DH was playing with and programed his name to
Stud Muffin and then called me and I saw it. I thought it was cute so it stuck and now he is stud muffin Sxxxxxx in my new phone.

Before he put that in it use to be Hubby. My theory to something besides his name was, if I get into an accident and the cops find my phone they know who to call. Morbid, I know, but I want to make sure they call the right person if god forbid something happens.

honestly he is the worst at answering his phone and i would rather have someone call my mom as ICE before him. that kind of sad.

Someone just emailed me this today and I honestly never thought about it before:

MOBILE
PHONES

I never thought of
this.......


This lady has now changed her habit of how
she lists her names on

her mobile phone after her handbag was
stolen. Her handbag, which

contained her cell phone, credit card,
wallet... Etc...was stolen.


20 minutes later when she called her hubby,
from a pay phone telling

him what had happened, hubby says 'I
received your text asking

about our Pin number and I've replied a
little while ago.'


When they rushed down to the bank, the bank
staff told them all the

money was already withdrawn. The thief had
actually used the stolen

cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact
list and got hold of the pin

number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn
all the money from their

bank account.


Moral of the lesson:

Do not disclose the relationship between you
and the people in

your contact list.


Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby,
Sweetheart, Dad,

Mom, etc....


And very importantly, when sensitive info is
being asked through texts,

CONFIRM by calling back.


Also, when you're being text by friends or
family to meet them

somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm
that the message came

from them. If you don't reach them, be very
careful about going places

to meet 'family and friends' who text
you.
