WDW BTDT moms - Leaving your stroller to go on attractions!

Where do you leave your stroller to go on attractions? I mean, nobody to watch the stroller.

Do they have a "safe" park area?

Do you get a number tag in exchange for your stroller?

Are there park areas designated in the park (talking about Magic Kingdom and Epcot)? Are they far from the attractions?

Can you leave your stroller by the attractions?

Did you leave your diapers bag also in the stroller? (assuming you are taking your valuables of course).

Outside each attraction they had stroller parking. Most had attendants,not to watch your stuff but to keep the strollers lined up and organized. Just know that your stoller most likely wont be in the same spot you left it because the attendants try to keep everything neat and organized since there are so many strollers.
We left our diaper bag in the basket but took our valuables with us and didnt have any problems.

When you go on rides - there are "stroller" parking areas. There are specified areas to leave your stroller you don't just leave them anywhere. The Cast members (CMs) sometimes move them around to make more room so if you can't find your stroller you should ask one of them to help you. No there are no tags. I haven't heard of anyone who has had their stroller stolen although I guess it does happen.

I clearly mark my stroller so no one will take by accident. I got bright colored balloon string and tied a bunch of it to the handle bar of the stroller it made it MUCH easier to find in the hundreds of parked strollers and makes it less likely for someone with the same stroller to walk with yours.

I have read on disboards of people doing everything from putting a plastic bag with a "dirty" diaper (they pour soda on it just to make it looked used so no one wants to take that - but that is to me.

I never had a problem last trip - although once our stroller was moved to a different location with the others - but I found it very quickly.

You can not put a bike lock on btw b.c the CMs need to be able to move the strollers.

When we were there we saw a lot of very expensive strollers around.

Etd to add:

I bought a simple diaper bag on clearance last trip - it was like $15 so if something happened to it I didn't care. I put in it just diapers, wipes, changing pad, and one older change of clothes - so if someone walked with it then I wouldn't be upset. I put snacks, water, sippies etc all in the basket of the stroller. I never had anyone touch it the whole trip and saw most moms doing this. DH carried a backback that he put our camera and any other valuables we took to the park with us and kept it on him. I carry my cardkey around my neck so I don't have to worry about that - I put a $20 in that and since you can charge to the room I don't carry any wallet or other items on me. Anything of value I would leave on you at all times and NOT leave in the stroller.

BTW any shopping you do remember you can use package delivery (they will deliver it to your resort gift shop to be picked up the next day) so you don't have to lug it around the parks with you.

We've been to multiple parks and never had a problem with the stroller parking. We just left the diaper bag on it and always took our valuables with us. We brought a $300 stroller and saw other expensive ones there too.

BTW I was very impressed with the WDW staff. I saw them actually trailing a child they thought might be lost until they made sure he found his family. I mean there were like 3 staff member talking on walkie talkies about him!

I take a "cheap" umbrella stroller. I personally do not like leaving my personal property unattended. I don't leave my diaper bag.

As the PPs mentioned there is stroller parking at every attraction and there are attendants that move the strollers closer together/in lines so they can get as many as they can in the space. They do not watch your stuff.

We always take a larger diaper bag that holds all Kaydyn's stuff and then I have a small bag that I just keep one diaper/bottle or cup/and my wallet and phone. I leave the larger diaper bag on the stroller and we've never had a problem and then I just grab the small one and go on the rides with that one. DH is responsible for the camera.

same here. At every park (WDW, Sesame Place, zoo) we leave our stroller with diaper bag in the designated stroller parking area. We take our valuables with us. Never had a problem. That's how it is at every place I've been. Definitely attach a scarf or colored strings to it so its easily identifiable.
