The Bubble - UPPAbaby
So, I love this thing but do not know if it's necessary. I'm due in 2 weeks and off from work until end of July. With wanting to be outdoors all the time, should I get this, or do you think the shade on the Snug Ride car seat and City Mini is enough?
Found it on Gilt and it's super cheap.
I should really add the info about it:
The Bubble fits easily over most infant car seats to defend against sun, rain, wind and bugs. *Fold out sun protection layer: SPF 50+ *Fold out wind/rain protection layer *Universal fit compatible with most infant car seats *Pop-open action, no assembly required *Lightweight and easy to fit, folds into a handy travel bag *1.6" x 11" x 11" *8 oz.

Re: The Bubble - UPPAbaby
That looks interesting but I'd be concerned about it getting too hot in there. Even those little beach tents get really hot if they are in direct sun. A lot of babies get hot in the seats in general anyway.
We just used the shade on the seat and a bug net and kept her in the shade, always out of direct sunlight.
Ultimately we didn't like just leaving her in the seat too much, she was in there for walks and car rides as it was so we usually just held her or put her on a blanket, again in complete shade.
