Cant Tell if it Was AF!!!

Hi! I had D & C almost 5 weeks ago. I have no symptoms of AF, no cramping or anything. Almost exactly 4 weeks to the day of the procedure I started really really dark brown spotting and clumps. (Sorry but just had to explain) This was for 3-4 days but not much at all, just a liner was needed all day. I figured AF was coming full force but for the past week I have had no spotting at all. Its getting annoying because when I go to work I am so afraid of getting it and not being prepared! I read up on this online and some people were saying that they had to get a second D & C. I didnt really bleed much at all after D & C, little to no bleeding. At my 4 week follow up I didnt have a sono. How long should this take? Is it safe for me to TTC??

I've heard that AF can be anywhere from really heavy to really light after a m/c but if I were you I would give the dr. a call and ask them.

My doctor said if I stopped bleeding nad started again it was AF...

I'm sorry. I know how confusing and scary it is. That's why alot of doctors say to wait 2 cycles so you can be sure.

even if you can't time it well that doesn't mean you can't still try? Looking back I wish I followed my doctors advice and just BD'd 3-4 times a week. I think it would've worked out better for me...

I would def call you Dr jsut to confirm it's AF or not leftover from the D&C. It might be good to have another sono.

Hope AF arrives soon.

Thanks everyone! I think I will wait one more week and call! I DO NOT want to go back to he dr again! I am sick of going there all the time! THe last time I was there is told me that he hopes to see me back before my one year checkup b/c I will be PG. Glad he is hopeful at least!
