Im not a teacher but

I just want to know do any NYC schools have after schools programs that hire people to help with the kids like arts and grafts and stuff or like a summer daycamp?how would I find out thanks

Try summer camps first. I say just google 'summer daycamps' and the name of where you live, or the general area. I bet you would get a ton of hits.

I would say for the school you may have to be a teacher or have some sort of teaching certification. And you really don't want to deal with the school system red tape, trust me.

I dont think so. Any after school programs are usually run by teacher who are already employed by the school

my school does get art residencies (art, drama, yoga, dance etc) however, Im pretty sure these are trough grants and a particular company
